The ‘Stone of Letting Go’, encourages the being to look within and face the “darker side” of the self in order to recognise what has been hidden or suppressed over time, so that either healing and release can take place, or for such finds to healthily be integrated into life.

Goethite stimulates the mind to move into the stage of recognition, into knowing the need to face, sort through and let go of any shadows of the self that have been previously trapped away.

It may be that the being has purposely hidden away the “darker side” of the self out of fear or misunderstanding. The term “darker side” in this case does not mean that of corrupt ways, it is more the side of the being that has strong ideas, strong goals, and of course it is likely at times these are not always going to be of credit.

Goethite helps the being to step out of the this “darker Side” where any such thought is hidden away in the darkness, not to be heard or seen, not to have a place in life.

Goethite raises all that needs to come to the surface, but will continue to work alongside so that the being does not become over burdened or lost in emotions.
