I  Googled the metaphysical description of the Tschermigite and could find nothing on it except from your site and was curious with your comment along the lines of, not for the faint hearted. Well I am faint hearted but what the hell, I found it to be a very bluntly honest crystal and have to now throw away of a lot of my perceptions ( a nicer word for ideas). Sense of humour a must!!! Morion

Morion is a sister to smokey quartz, this very rare black quartz is formed through natural radiation, from growing near uranium deposits. Morion itself is not radioactive and is safe to carry. When exposed to light for extended time they fade from black to grey. "Morions" were a type of helmet used around the time of the Conquistadors, which speaks to the stone's protective and shielding qualities. They are useful in shadow work, helping the wearer to face the dark aspects of self and to release obstacles. They are grounding and aid in coping with grief. Morion can be used to bring connection with the "darker" faces of the deity, such as the Crone and Hunter archetypes.

Morion the 'Stone of Divine Source', helps to ease conditions that cause difficulties in breathing, bringing forth an improved flow of oxygen and strengthened respiratory system, as well helping the being to connect with that if Divinity and spirit guides.
 
Quartz overall is a high vibrational stone with a very pure and self-adjusting energy.
