Splash Copper Sculptures are made by pouring molten copper at 2200 degrees F into trays filled with water and straw. When the shapes are cooled, a green colored chemical patina is applied, then highlights are buff polished to expose the glowing solid copper underneath. The sculptures are treated to preserve the finish and prevent tarnishing.
