All of these pendants have been handmade by Howard in his Cheshire-based design studio.

Howard’s creative talents were recognised early in his life. While still at school, he was selected for an apprenticeship with a local jeweller, where he learned his craft in precious metals. Working with silver and gold, he mastered the art of bespoke jewellery design, fine jewellery making, and precision repair techniques.

Later, he joined Manchester Minerals, a well-known and respected crystal shop in Cheshire. During his thirty years working with the Hilton brothers, Howard expanded his expertise into gemstone cutting and quickly became fascinated by the extraordinary world of crystals — particularly agates and jaspers with their intricate colours, patterns, and banding.

Now self-employed with his own studio, Howard designs and creates truly unique one-off pendants, many inspired by clean geometric forms. Each piece is individually handcrafted, ensuring that no two are ever the same.

Howard’s passion and enthusiasm are unmistakable in every finished piece. As he often says,
“I never tire of working with these wonderful natural materials.”

In recent years, Howard’s work has become increasingly sought after, with collectors and crystal enthusiasts recognising both the craftsmanship and rarity of his designs. As a result, the remaining pieces have become highly desirable additions for those who appreciate exceptional gemstone artistry.
