    Weighs 1.5 grams
     
    It helps one to be both precise and correct in judgments in cases requiring evaluation of evidence prior to decision-making.
     
    It also provides one with a strength and stability in social situations, which may be beyond the ordinary.
     
    The mineral also provides cohesiveness with respect to family ties and with respect to closeness within a group.
    Improvement and refinement in communication is reported; both for inter/intra family structures, work environments, social environments, and other worlds.
    It can assist one in exhibiting an openness from the heart space, to display real feelings of love and generosity, and to maintain dignity.

    Grandidierite is extremely rare, and it often appears on the list of the 10 rarest varieties in the world, along with gems like Jeremejevite and  Painite. 
     
    Grandidierite was first discovered in 1902 in Madagascar by Alfred Lacroix, a French mineralogist. Lacroix named the mineral in honor of French explorer and naturalist Alfred Grandidier (1836–1912), the first authority on the natural history of Madagascar.
