    This a very rare crystal, please remember that it has been photographed with a macro lens and is quite small.

    This example is from Lovozero Massif, Kola Peninsula, you can see the original collectors note in image 3, however this is not part of the sale. 

    Lorenzenite is a rare mineral that was first identified in 1897 in rock samples from Narsarsuk Greenland.
    In 1947 it was discovered to be the same as the mineral Ramsayite (now a synonym of Lorenzenite), discovered in the 1920s in Kola Peninsula.

    Ramsayite is the old name for Lorezenite.

    Lorenzenite has a rather high luster which is due to the titanium content.
