    There is very little written about these stones. They come from the Northern Territory of Australia. The stones are over 450 Million Years Old. Cambrian period.  

    There are some exquisite patterns and colours in this unusual tumbled stone.

    Mawsonia Madaginia is a 450 Million Years Old (Cambrian) Stromatolite, these sedimentary rocks  were originally formed by the growth of layer upon layer of cyanobacteria, a single-celled photosynthesizing microbe.

    These layers formed when a colony of algae trapped loose sediment particles.
    Stromatolite occur in rocks that range in age from very recent to more than 3.5 billion years old. Ancient stromatolites are the oldest evidence of life that is visible without a microscope. Stromatolite promotes adaptability, promotes the ability to yield while still maintaining your point of view, helps you to process the experiences you have and helps you to grow from your experiences.

    Stromatolite is a stone of transformation assisting healing at an emotional level. Stromatolite gently removes blockages within the meridians and chakra.

    Stromatolite is a good meditation aid in assisting with past life recall. Stromatolite teaches the purpose of life on Earth and our part in it.
