Saussurite helps to make it easier to take your next step in your personal development. It’s a crystal to help with keeping anxiety at bay, and maintaining a calm demeanour.
It was named after the Swiss explorer Horace Benedict de Saussure, who discovered it on the slopes of Mont Blanc who originally believed it to be Jade.
Saussurite has often been sold as Jade because Jade fetches a higher price.
Saussurite is a mineral aggregate formed as a hydrothermal alteration product of plagioclase Feldspar. Saussurite appears as a translucent to opaque grey to yellowish green with a mottled aggregate.
